Live Thursday 21st March 2002.

"You missed a pretty good gig on Thursday. The night started of very quiet people wise but by 9:30ish it was pretty busy,
the Free Butt is small so not alot of people would fill it up, but it looked pretty busy to me. The PA sounded really nice,
clear bassy and clean. Malevich played a nice set, they have got new equipment which matched the nice PA very well,
sligthly marred by too much microphone feedback. My set started off very mellow, playing the backing track to "Make
Sure Its Shut" and using the microphone to create low levels of very echoed feedback.
As the PA bass was so nice I had all the bass turned up full so the whole pub filled up with bass. This did create a problem
as my cd players kept skipping because of so much bass, so I just turned up the echo to disguise it, no-one knew any
different. As this was the place we saw Acid Mothers Temple I played the AMT chanting track from  "Make Sure Its Shut".
Then was time to turn it up a bit with the usual bass roars and screaming, this built up, got louder and bassier then,
woohoo, the power failed, for the whole pub, the PA went down, bang silence, fantastic, end of set I believe.
Havent done that for a while." Eagle Steve
