| 5th March 1999 | Cheesemaster and Micky will be playing at the East Dulwich Tavern. It is a benefit for Amnesty International. There will be comedians on from 9PM to 11PM, then Mr Cheese and Mr Micky will then play until 1 PM. One of the acts is a kind of one man monologue type thingy called Hey Gringo. It started at the EDT this week. It is directed by Steve and is apparently very similar to a stand up act. Very good reports from Brian, it went down well in Edinburgh. One of the other comedians is fellow called Boothby who does a comedy guitar thing. He recently cracked it in America, has been funded cake topping (hundreds of thousands) for a pilot TV series. Success hasn't changed him much, he still lives with Jenny one of the barmaids at the EDT. The last comedian will be a surprise for you because I don't know who it will be. |
